US naval aerial footage shows the moment a Chinese warship nearly collided with an American destroyer in the South China Sea on Sunday (30).
The United States vessel was operating near the Coral of the Spratly Islands claimed by Beijing when the Chinese destroyer Lanzhou approached to try to expel it. Second experts, the two ships were within seconds of a collision.
On Tuesday (2), China accused the Americans of disrespecting their sovereignty with the entrance of the boat in the region, that is disputed by diverse Asian countries.
