Second 24-Hour Attack In The US Leaves Nine Dead And 27 Injured

 Nine people were killed and 27 others injured in an attack in Dayton, Ohio, United States. The crime occurred after a gunman began firing in the city center around 2 am Sunday, in an area that concentrates bars and restaurants. The author of the shooting, Connor Betts, 24, was shot dead by police. His sister, Megan Betts, 22, is among the dead. The victims were between 22 and 57 years old.
 In less than 24 hours this is the second firearm attack in the country, and the 32nd in the year in the US. One man killed 20 and injured 26 on Saturday afternoon at an El Paso, Texas, supermarket. After the two attacks, which together left 29 victims, President Donald Trump ordered the flags in the country to stay half mast for five days.
 According to Dayton police, in a statement on social networks, there were vehicles near the crime scene, which allowed the suspect to be contained quickly. The New York Times reported that 15 people were taken to Miami Valley Hospital, but there is no information on their health.
